Wurzels' Disc Notes
"
For the first time EVER, The Legends of The West Country
have gathered in their cow shed-studio, fuelled with mulled
cider, mince pies and warm gooey festive mirth and recorded
a fantastic collection of Christmas favourites! "
Under
a huge swathe of publicity "Holy Cow! It's The Wurzels
Christmas Album!" this was the first ever Christmas
album by The Wurzels. Amid numerous appearances on prime-time
TV and Radio across the country the band included several
of these tracks in their live shows over the festive period.
Other events surrounding the release included a trip around
London in a tractor drawn cart culminating in a photo session
outside the House of Parliament and a guided tour within!
No doubt Adge was looking down with pride as his boys bought
traditional Christmas music in his Scrumpy & Westen
style to the very heart of Britain!
