Professor Wurzel's Disc Notes:
The
title track is a straight ‘Wurzelised' cover of the Oasis
hit of the 1990s. The record reached the UK Top 60 during
its first week of release with plenty of airplay and interest
from the media. This single reinforced the recently introduced
new following the band had attracted with the ‘Combine Harvester
– remix' – and is now firmly fixed as a favourite with fans
- young and old alike. The track is also included on the
2002 ‘Bullocks' album. The other two tracks included are
the original 1970s versions of two of the Wurzels' best-loved
songs.
The
images above include the CD promo copy disc with no title
on it, just the EMI Gold identification, sent out in advance
to TV and radio companies.
